Position Overview:

A full range of services is required to be provided by the right candidate including Skin Therapy Treatments, and Body Treatments. Estheticians must be able to build rapport with clients and approach all client interactions with reverence for the guest. A successful Esthetician will excel at retail sales and will continuously commit to product training and meet or exceed personalized sales goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Abides by the Wellness & Spa Policies and Procedures Guidelines
  • Provides high-level customer service, as well as safe and efficacious services to all guests
  • Follows service protocol during all treatments
  • Demonstrates advanced technical ability during treatments
  • Comfortably discuss services, treatment plans and recommendations with clients
  • Reviews client Health History/Release forms prior to services adapting for any contraindications
  • Maintains cleanliness of treatment rooms and other areas of the Spa.
  • Ensures the safe and proper use of spa equipment
  • Ability to educate clients and sell skincare and beauty lines sold in our boutique
  • Completes customized Skincare Recommendations sheets for all facial clients
  • Completes treatment notes on all visiting clients noting preferences or recommendations.
  • Willing to upgrade and learn new protocols during training and incorporating them in the treatments.
  • Assists with stocking and inventory
  • Responsible for fostering a healthy attitude and working relationships with all co-workers and members of management
  • Other tasks as assigned e.g doing Laundry and folding of spa linen.

Requirements:
 
  • Fluency in English
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to meet personalized sales goals
  • Courteous and professional demeanour
  • Able to work in a team or independently
  • Advanced time management skills
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a humid environment
  • Must be well groomed, and comply with the spa dress-code policy
  • Ongoing Customer service and product line training attendance is mandatory
  • Availability to work evening/ weekend /required shifts.

Education and Experience:
 
  • Previous spa or hospitality experience as an asset.
  • Ayurveda/Esthetician, Massage education programme.
  • Previous experience with Booker or other scheduling applications considered an asset.
